History and future of Mill United FC

Mill United prides itself in trying to play attractive football and we encourage all squad members to develop their skills and to play with a good attitude and discipline .

Mill United Football Club was formed in 1977 by two good friends - John Moxen who lived in Mill Court, and George Hanley who lived in Mill Park. It was established to give the local youngsters who were constantly playing football a sense of belonging and to create community spirit.

Over the years Mill United have enjoyed over 25 wins in Scottish, regional, league and cup competitions both in Scotland and abroad. The club is recognised as a major football institution by scouts nationwide, who year after year invite Mill United players to join their Youth Academies.

At present the club have produced several players for senior clubs including Barry Ferguson, Paul Hartley and Lewis Ferguson. We are ready to keep this trend going.
